Diane Kruger, 47, Has Sculpted Abs In A Two

Jun 02, 2024

Her workouts include kettlebell training, ballet and more.

ICYMI, Diane Kruger has a new film, Visions, coming out soon, and she is making her rounds to promote the show at red carpet events. And of course, Diane brings her A-game to these appearances.

At the latest premiere event in Paris this week, the star, 47, was absolutely stunning in a red two-piece outfit that included a crop top and matching high-rise maxi skirt. She accessorized the look with an oversized black blazer and her super-sculpted abs. And she wasted no time sharing some snaps from the event on her Instagram.

Her caption was written completely in French, but her friends, fans, and followers let her know that language was no barrier to their appreciation. And fire emojis translate in any language. "Beautiful goddess," one person wrote. "Gorgeous ❤️🔥," another commented.

Although working out wasn't always Diane's thing, she's found a routine that works for her. “I was naturally skinny when I was younger, and I did a lot of ballet and ballroom dancing, so I didn’t work out traditionally," she shared with Women's Health in 2021. "But by the time I hit about 32, I felt my metabolism change. That’s when I thought I needed to work out to be able to eat what I wanted—and I dreaded it."

Her tune has changed, though. Back in March, she shared a mirror selfie of herself getting in a kettlebell workout at the gym. "Nothing better than having that hour to get back into your body 🌈," she captioned the post.

And back in 2021, she shared another selfie from a sweaty workout on Instagram (with a super relatable caption). The workout was part of the star's training for her action film The 355. To prep, she shared with WH that she worked out five days a week and did a ton of different workouts, including fight training, wrestling, grappling, basic gymnastics and running.

"I remember when I dreaded working out....now, it’s YAY AN HOUR TO MYSELF 😎🤣," she captioned one pic.

Ballet has also always been a big part of Diane's fitness regimen. Before getting into acting, she studied ballet at the Royal Academy in London, per IndieWire. However, her career ended at just 13 when she broke her knee, according to Variety. For her role in the ballet film Joika, Diane immersed herself again in the world of ballet, and actually got to instruct classes.

When it comes to her diet, Diane told The New Potato, "I try to eat organic, but I'm not obsessive about food," she said. "Poached eggs with avocado on multigrain bread for breakfast, some sort of salmon dish for lunch, nuts as snacks during the day, and maybe chicken or veal for dinner with veggies and red wine."

And she also has a deep love for a glass of rosé and fries.

You go, Diane!
